"Nevsehir Folk Culture Studies- I"

Our research center, as it has always been since its foundation,  focuses on the geography and cultural heritage of the region and aims to progress in  harmony with the residents of Cappadocia.In this context, it keeps doing its best to promote the Cappadocia Region by bringing the historical, natural and cultural beauties to light.

Therefore, the book titled “"Nevsehir Folk Culture Studies 1", edited by Assist. Prof. Adem ÖĞER, is of vital importance in that it helps us identify, compile and analyze such traditions in the region regarding birth,  wedding and death as well as such verbal cultural products as legends, lullabies, laments, anecdotes and poems.
